The Leidos Energy, Infrastructure & Automation (EIA) operation has an opening for a Power Delivery Solutions (PDS) Division Manager; this role has a designation of Vice President (VP). This position is a key member of the EIA operation reporting directly to the EIA Senior VP/Operations Manager.
PDS provides a diverse portfolio of engineering and technology-enabled solutions to large US-based utilities and other commercial clients. PDS offers high quality engineering solutions for transmission line, substation, distribution line, system planning, and project management services.
The successful candidate will be a proven leader with an ability to create and execute growth strategies. Primary responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction though world-class service, directing a nationwide team of ~1,300 employees, leading profitability and growth of the division's P&L, supporting service cost estimation in the bid/proposal process for business development and growth, guiding best practices for the efficient delivery of services to meet programmatic, technical, and schedule requirements, and ownership of the division growth strategy. This position will plan, organize, and manage resources and focus on successful completion of operational goals and management of KPIs by interfacing with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel while ensuring all projects perform within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Ideally, candidate would be within driving distance of one of the following offices (Walled Lake MI, Atlanta Northlake GA, Orlando FL, Charlotte NC, Houston TX, Chicago IL, Framingham MA). Relocation assistance is available. As a position with supervisory responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to report in-person in a hybrid schedule. However, all qualified candidates residing in the U.S. will be considered including those for work-remote only.
Primary Responsibilities
Full operational responsibility for a division portfolio that consists of more than 1,300 technical and project management professionals that provide engineering solutions to electric utilities, enabling them to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable power to their customers. The solutions that PDS offers include transmission line, distribution line, substation, system planning, and project management services.
- Developing and executing the strategic direction of a diverse portfolio >$250M focused on growth
- Full Profit & Loss responsibilities
- Manage issue resolution, service delivery, and communication to internal and external customers
- Full responsibility for staffing and leading a team of over 1,300 team members
- Interfacing with functional leadership to include Finance, Human Resources, Project Execution, Contracts, Sub-Contracts, Business Development, and Legal
- Ensuring compliance with policies including project execution, human resources, finance, procurement, contracts/subcontracts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and fifteen (15) + years of prior relevant experience
- The ideal candidate will have at least twelve (12) + years of experience supervising or leading large teams or complex projects of a similar scale
- Previous experience leading on-site and remote teams
- Experience leading and growing a diverse commercial service and solution portfolio
- Client-facing service delivery
- Business development to drive growth
- Travel 25%

Pay Range:
Pay Range $213,750.00 - $285,000.00 - $356,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
