Description
The Leidos Innovation Center has an immediate opening for a Production Assistant to work in our Vista, CA location. This is an exciting opportunity to use your analytical and quantitative skills to support cross-functional teams supporting Production within the Intelligent Sensor Systems branch. Existing areas of work support the low-rate production of products to include handheld detectors to aid law enforcement and interdiction personnel, X-ray imaging systems, and various types of sensor systems. Emphasis is on production, product development and transitioning products to production.
Primary Responsibilities
- Service administrative functions including but not limited to travel booking; expense reports; meeting coordination; training support; general administrative and clerical support.
- Work with Q/A team on tasks including but not limited to the management and maintenance of production quality documentation; government property; and ISO internal/external audits.
- Work with Procurement team to support materials planning tasks including but not limited to P-card, COTS items, and floor stock purchases.
- Support Program Management with PM-related tasking including but not limited to tracking of programmatic objectives; forecasting; task oversight/tracking/follow-up across cross-functional teams; customer responsivity and interface.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of applicable experience.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong written/oral communication, decision-making and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Must be a U.S Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO 9001 experience.
- Experience using Costpoint and/or QuickBase.
- Customer service experience and resolving customer feedback.
- Experience with MS Excel Pivot tables.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
