Leidos is looking for a CM/DM/Logistics Team lead to join a high performing agile team using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology to support a nationally significant and fast-paced cryptographic key management program. Program execution follows DEVOPS best practices and employs robust development, test, and production environments. We are using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and test automation tools alongside a full suite of team collaboration tools. Leidos is the prime contractor providing system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support. The multi-year program is focused on injecting new technology and adding advanced capabilities while continuing to support an on-going mission and operational system.
JOB SUMMARY:
The selected individual will be responsible for providing technical leadership management for the Configuration Management, Data Management, and Logistics teams on the program. The individual will be responsible for managing workflow and processes across these three teams; developing increment plans and prioritizing tasks; supervising personnel assigned to the teams and managing resources against the engineering road plan to ensure optimal team performance. The selected candidate will work with team members and the Agile Scrum Master assigned to these teams to ensure that commitments at the Program Increment (PI) Planning are met. She/he will facilitate communication across the team members and will be responsible for determining and implementing improvements to processes. Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical. The environment demands the ability to quickly establish solid working relationships with coworkers and customers to effectively integrate into a complex technical program with many moving parts.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance to be considered for this role.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the program CM/DM/Logistics processes to include procurement, property/asset management, data management, technical configuration management and policy, process, and audits.
- Assumes ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the CM area of responsibility.
- Communicates with other program personnel and Leidos and Government leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project.
- Traditional CM/DM Roles & Responsibilities
- Participates in the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and release planning meetings.
- Ensures that the team receives information, training, and guidance regarding CM/DM/Logistics procedures.
- Establishes and enforces the CM/DM/Logistics policies and procedures.
- Identifies needs for CM tools and ensures a plan is in place to build or acquire these tools in alignment with the overall master schedule.
- Ensures that data is handled and stored appropriately across the program.
- Resolves issues with the program team concerning CM/DM/Logistics activities or escalates as required.
- Ensures that documentation information is available and suitable at point of use.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- At least ten (10) years of experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Must have leadership experience managing multi-disciplined teams.
- Must be able to multi-task, complete tasks without direct supervision, and function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must have demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with personnel at all levels and from various technical disciplines (software developers, test engineers, system engineers, etc.).
- Must be proficient with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project).
- Must be an independent thinker capable of working proficiently independently as well as within a team.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience tracking software, hardware, and configuration status for software development systems, test environments, and operational sites.
- Experience developing and maintaining installation procedures and documenting standard configuration settings for hardware and software systems.
- Experience working within an Agile environment or program.
- Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred.
- Extensive experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams.
- Experience using Kanban to improve flow on support teams.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
