The Leidos Military and Veterans Health Solutions Operation has an opening for a Coach Manager to remotely lead/manage/supervise inTransition Coaches who provide coaching to military members and veterans across services throughout the Defense Health Agency (DHA). inTransition is a critical program to provide transitioning service members or veterans who are currently receiving psychological health care (i.e., mental health care or behavioral health care) and wish to receive care at their new destination or wish to initiate psychological health care for the first time. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic early to mid-career level manager to build upon their experience, delivering effective team leadership on a larger scale.

In addition to managing inTransition Coaches, the Coach Manager is a professional, trained, and licensed mental health care provider who will develop and lead Coach training, quality control, incident report reviews, performance, best practices, case assignment and procedural documentation. Primary Responsibilities
Accountable for managing Coach and Coach specialist performance
Assist senior managers with development of best practices and resources
Lead coaching staff onboarding and training of team members
Provide follow up training and feedback for team members with documentation and use of case management software
Develop and maintain workflow and standardized processes
Update/organize Coach and Coach Specialist schedules
Complete or assign follow up Critical Incident calls within 1 business day of critical incidents
Manage Coach caseloads and assigning of new and escalated cases
Complete Quality Control Checks to ensure best practices
Evaluate weekly performance reports and work with Coaches\Coach specialists to reduce barriers to success, coordinate training for improved performance, etc.
Basic Qualifications
Licensed mental health provider with a minimum of a Master’s degree in social work or other human services field (psychology, marriage and family therapy, behavioral health counseling)
Must hold an Independent License as a Mental Health Professional (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, behavioral health counseling)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering face-to-face mental health care and have demonstrated clinical experience in care management, motivational interviewing, and crisis counseling.
Must have experience training staff
Must have experience developing comprehensive reports
Must have Intermediate technology skills with strong command of word processing, excel, and electronic database platform navigation
Ability to multitask including online resource sourcing, completing forms and initialing electronic communications while in-session talking to clients
Required Critical Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Lead or Supervisor directly managing a large team of licensed professionals in the mental health field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing professional teams to reach and maintain established performance measures
Experience as a Lead/supervisor/manager directly supporting government contracts
Strong working knowledge of government contract operations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience providing mental health to military service members
Exceptional ability to multi-task and organize data\information
Advanced technology skills
Strong analytic skills that translate to the ability to represent findings coherently in comprehensive reports
Exceptional critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing subcontractors is a big plus!
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
