The National Solutions Group at Leidos is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Project Manager in Aurora CO. This is an exciting opportunity to work on our newly won Ratchet Orphans program and to apply your experience to support our customer’s mission. Duties will include managing projects that include the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of critical systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for Project Management activities on IT systems such as providing ideas and solutions to support the customer and working with developers to manage varying activities across the network. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your experience in a challenging and dynamic setting. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide support for implementation, managing IT projects
- Manage the daily project activities of operations of IT systems
- Provide Project Management support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide Tier 3 (Escalation) project support to issue identification, diagnosis and resolution
- Provide project support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
- Optimize project operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
- Provide Project Management for Linux, UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to
Basic Qualifications
- United States’ citizen with current TS/SCI access with a poly
- Requires a Bachelors degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience
- Provide Tier 3 project support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of software systems
- Experience maintaining Windows and Linux projects
- Must have strong Linux experience
- Advanced Software management skills
- Understanding of information security principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a project manager on a small program
- Experience as a Project Manager on a multi-faceted project
- Security+ certification
- ITIL Foundations certification
- PMP certification
Pay Range:
Pay Range $66,300.00 - $119,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
