Leidos is hiring for an AI Operations and Data Transformation Engineer at Fort Meade, MD. and will support a hybrid (customer site/telework) schedule.

Our Opportunity:
The Defense Enclave Services contract will unify the DOD Fourth Estate Defense Agencies and Field Activities’ common use information technology systems, personnel, functions and program elements under the direction of DISA’s Fourth Estate Network Optimization program office. The AI Operations and Data Transformation Engineer will develop and implement a strategy to combine big data and machine learning to automate IT operations processes (e.g., event correlation, anomaly detection, causality determination, etc.). This will include a sensor-based methodology that instruments the environment, collects telemetry, assesses data and analytics, responds with automated intelligent actions, and enhances knowledge, resulting in environment wide visibility for proactive situational understanding, collaboration, governance, and risk management. 

Clearance Requirement:
•Currently possess or are eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)

Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement AI Operations and Data Transformation Workplans.
•Develop and implement strategies that enable data sharing and analytics and automate workflows.
•Develop integrated data architecture that ingests fault, configuration and performance data for end-to-end network visibility and contextual understanding of real-time alarms. 
•Create a service availability dashboard that incorporates monitoring, event, change management and other data to enhance visibility and transparency. 
•Automate real-time, bidirectional data exchanges (e.g., service desk tickets, service catalog information, HW/SW provisioning, etc.)
•Collaborate with customers to understand their mission and vision as well as end-user requirements and needs.
•Work with other internal technical experts and teammates to ensure AI Operations are incorporated into program technical roadmaps and data transformation needs are used to help prioritize work.

Must have’s:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 12+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
•Experience developing AI/ML acceleration and data transformation road maps. 
•Experience creating virtual datasets and data lake architectures. 
•Demonstrated experience with advanced algorithm development. 
•Excellent communication and customer engagement skills. 

Nice to have's:
•Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Mathematics.
•Any Digital Transformation certification (e.g., UC Berkley, Coursera, edX, etc.)
