Description
Leidos is current seeking a Systems Engineer (Level 2) to support Information Assurance (IA) ISSE technical guidance and services in support of Leidos’ Global Positioning System (GPS) task activities regarding GPS satellites, ground control, user equipment, cryptographic integration and certification, end-to-end security engineering technical guidance, and key management. Specific tasks include; resolving Cryptographic Key issues, Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Component Level Assessment (MCAP) approval process, MGUE Research Effort (MRE) Key Handling Plan, Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) for GPS-III M-Code Generator, GPS/Inertial Navigation System (INS)-Modernized (EGI-M) Key handling plan, Evaluate papers regarding RCI Pseudolite System, Evaluation of GPS Operational Control System (OCX) Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and GPS-SOR-05 Key Specification activities.
Minimum requirements include:
Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required, for Level 2
Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
Must possess a current TS/SCI with Poly
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Space/Weapon/Ground/Terminal system requirements development and security design, particularly developing, reviewing, and analyzing technical CDRLs, TSRDs, and IASRDs
Experience in Space (GPS) Systems Engineering.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $213,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
