Our Leidos team current currently has a position for an experienced System Administrator with experience in Cyber Systems and IT Security to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.
This position will be responsible for managing the functionality and efficiency of multiple suites of the Tomahawk Mission Planning Center (TMPC) operating systems and ancillary equipment system through information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) installations, supporting ATO updates via RMF and eMASS, and creating curriculum updates and providing instruction for Tomahawk Strike Mission Planning Center (TSMPC) system administrators.
JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate will excel at working in a team consisting of system administration professionals for the TMPC suites of equipment and mission in our TMPC lab in Virginia Beach (Lynnhaven area).
The candidate will also create and update SysAdmin curriculum and provide instruction for TSMPC system administrators as well as support a SysAdmin lecture in the TMPC Overview course of instruction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Set up and administer user and administrator accounts
- Maintain system documentation
- Analyze system faults and troubleshoots operating systems and hardware
- Maintain multiple TMPC suites
- Conduct IAVAs
- Develop/update/deliver SysAdmin curriculum
- Support ATO updates via RMF and eMASS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or Cyber Security fields with six years of prior experience in any of these fields. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- IAT Level 2
- Security+ certification
- Familiarity with LINUX Red Hat, ACAS, HBSS, and Windows
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience supporting TSMPC system administration needs
- IAT Level 3
- Prior Master Training Specialist
Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
