Leidos has a career opportunity for a Property Control Technician in the WMA. The successful candidate will work with a team to manage assets and property with a focus on disposal.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the removal and disposal of classified media from IT equipment and peripherals. He/she will track customer assets and accountable property using ServiceNow and a version of IBM’s Maximo tool.
Duties also include:
- Maintaining our customer’s tracking database, updating the database with new information, and closing out Property Turn In (PTI) tasks.
- Performing asset tracking and reconciliation of equipment turned in for disposal.
- Communicating effectively with leadership and Mission Partners on the status of tasks.
- Updating tools in a timely manner with appropriate tracking identifiers.
- Submitting necessary requests for approval to the receiving disposal group.
- Receiving, shelving, and delivering equipment from vendors.
- Learning and using tools to report metrics for daily/weekly reports and to meet Quality Assessment Surveillance Plan (QASP) metrics.
Requires a high school diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience. Basic knowledge of IT services such as de-installation and degaussing of hard drives and other classified materials. Ability to draft property movement documents needed for all equipment turned in for disposal.
Pay Range:Pay Range $48,750.00 - $88,125.00
