Description
Leidos is seeking a motivated Software Developer with an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility to join the Air Force Technical Application Center (AFTAC) US National Data Center (US NDC) team at Patrick Air Force Base!
Work side by side with the software, systems, hardware, operations, and scientific teams to design, implement, and automating build, release, deployment, monitoring and configuration activities. A successful candidate will have strong priors around automation design and implementation in real-time systems or high-reliability environments.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop, test and maintain a mission system software base.
Produce and maintain system documentation.
Basic Qualifications
Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
BS/BA and 8+ yrs of related experience in software development OR MS and 6+ years of related experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Professional experience with software lifecycle, development tools, and automation tools
Proficiency in C, Java, Perl or Python
Experience working with Linux Red Hat
Familiar with configuration management/version control systems and problem tracking systems (ClearCase or GitLab)
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or willingness to achieve within 6 months of hire
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to work in a team environment to include customer and contractor technical team members, end users, and management
Preferred Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
Experience supporting a high availability 24x7 mission system
Experience working in a CPE/CDE environment and configurations
Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
