Leidos is looking for a cyber threats analyst to provide support drafting and reviewing adversary cyber related products with an emphasis on potential implications to USAFCENT plans/operations, and USAF aircrew training. AFCENT Intelligence Directorate (A2) in the employment and sustainment of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets, personnel, and capabilities. The ISR Technical Support positions require in-depth understanding of existing/programmed ISR technologies, the applications of multi-intelligence data, commercial/government-off-theshelf (C/GOTS) technologies, ISR/C2 planning, operational employment, and deployment/redeployment concepts. Services include detailed analysis, operational planning, and training to ensure AFCENT support for the worldwide employment and synchronization of CAF and Unified Command forces throughout the spectrum of conflict within the USCENTCOM AOR.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Function with an USAFCENT AOR based intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of the customers National, CCMD, and JTF analytical requirements.
- Provide critical oversight of training on predictive and forensic analysis of adversary cyber threats.
- Serve as the adversary cyber threat authority on USAFCENT’s red team during war-gaming and exercises.
- Provide expert analytic support to USAFCENT planning, drafting and reviewing of prioritized intelligence and production requirements, intelligence estimates, etc.
- Prepare analytical products including powerpoint presentations, formal messages, background papers, collection requirements, RFI responses and staff summary packages for general officers.
Note- Candidates must be able to maintain current passport and visa requirements at all times and maintain the ability to be world-wide deployable to include medical clearances
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- Candidates must have a current TOP SECRET SCI Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) years’ or more of comparable experience. Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years of cyber experience
- Two years’ experience as an IA, cybersecurity specialist, or related.
- Working knowledge of cyber threat intelligence, actors, malware, TTPs, various security methodologies AND working knowledge of intelligence analysis and tradecraft.
- Forward deployed experience during the past 5 years in support of a named operation (OEF, OIR, RSM-A, SOF units etc.) preferred
- Strong writing skills and being capable of effectively operating as a member of a Combined/Joint intelligence team required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- USCENTCOM AOR experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a Cyber Support Team (CST) or Combat Mission Team (CMT), or who has attended JCAC training.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
