The NISC IV program has an opening for a Facility Information Analyst. The Analyst must provide facility and software engineering program support services in a wide range of areas supporting the National Airspace System (NAS) implementation programs for the Office of Facility Management at the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. The ideal candidate will perform a mix of routine and varying assignments associated with the management of the ARCHIBUSs facility management software applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. To qualified for FAA Public Trust you must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder who has resided in the US for the past 3 years.
- Experience providing quality User Support / Customer Service with the ability and patience to train and teach others.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of relational databases and applications. Must understand schema structures (relationships, tables, fields, primary keys), reporting, and data integration capabilities.
- Can demonstrate an understanding of data migration from a flat file such as Excel to a relational database.
- Experience writing basic SQL Server database queries and filtering large datasets. SQL query experience must include independent work developing unique queries on an as-needed basis to pull data from one or more tables. Must be familiar with using features such as related data, joins, CASE statements, data conversions, restrictions, group by, union, order by and more.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.
- Excellent data analytical and/or data mining skills including an understanding of data normalization.
- Understanding of Data Integrity with strong attention to details and accuracy and a keen eye for identifying discrepancies
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level including functions such as LOOKUP, COUNTIF, All text and date functions, pivot tables, conditional formatting, filtering and more.
- Experience documenting, testing, troubleshooting, training, and supporting software applications.
- Strong aptitude for learning computer software applications and adapting to changes and updates.
- Experience reviewing application functionality and analyzing against business needs and processes.
- Capability to establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and system users to gain their trust and respect.
- Understanding of project management and task coordination
- Self-driven enthusiastic individual with ability to work independently based on high level instruction.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize based on business needs.
- Working experience with Microsoft OneDrive, OneNote, Teams, and SharePoint including collaborative files, posts and information sharing
- Inquisitive and self-driven with a willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of prior experience desired with an emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Data Science, Analytics, Architecture, Design. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- JavaScript and/or XML programming experience and knowledge is not required but is a BIG plus.
- Knowledge of space planning principals and utilization
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2020 or later is a plus.
- Ability to read/understand architectural and furniture plan drawings.
- Ability to create or modify AutoCAD drawings independently.
- ARCHIBUS or other facility management application experience/knowledge is not required but is a plus. Experience from a system administration/support perspective is preferred over user level experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
