Leidos is seeking a Network Management Specialist for a position as part of a team supporting the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) in Columbus, Ohio. This is a full time position that must work in Pensacola, FL. Telework is authorized on a limited basis.
The Network Management Specialist will support tasks on the contract related to the UCSA Core Infrastructure. This includes management of multiple network enclaves that work together to provide one seamless environment that will allow users easy access to the services provided by the UCSA. The management of core infrastructure includes a large collection of network, systems, and storage infrastructure as well as a core set of supporting services like Active Directory, Identity and Access Management, Yellowdog Updater Modified, Salt, Domain Name Service, ACAS, Citrix, Windows Server Update Services, Host Base Security System, and others as required.
Primary Responsibilities
Aids in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation and the maintenance of upgrading existing networks.
Analyzes, designs, specifies, documents, and implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment.
Maintains a broad knowledge of network communications and local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN) operations and has a demonstrated ability to independently work on complex assignments.
Engage with the customer to resolve issues with incomplete or requirements unclear
Reach out to stakeholders and facilitates approvals as necessary to ensure continual forward progress of the service request.
Design data and voice networks carried over various transmissions systems, router to router connections using military and commercial protocols such as BGP and ISIS, switch-to-switch trunking to include VLANS, and circuit configurations through multiplexers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of overall related experience.
Network engineering, program management, and performance management experience.
Knowledge of implementing, administering, performing testing, and analyzing network systems.
Experience with network services (BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF, etc.) and network appliances (e.g., routers, load balancers, domain name servers, firewalls).
Strong written and verbal communications, team building and collaboration skills
Possess an active Secret security clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security + CE)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DISA Network Enclaves
AWS cloud practitioner certification

Pay Range:
Pay Range $66,300.00 - $102,000.00 - $137,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
