Leidos is seeking an experienced Axonius Specialist to join our Continuous Diagnostic and Mitigation team.  The ideal candidate will be well-versed in using the Axonius platform to manage asset data, generate reports, and troubleshoot data integration issues. As an Axonius Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our customer’s asset inventory, evaluating security posture, and supporting overall cybersecurity efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with IT and security teams to gather and integrate asset data from various sources into the Axonius platform.

  • Develop and maintain data preparation processes to ensure consistent and accurate asset information.

  • Generate customized reports and dashboards using Axonius to provide insights into asset management, security compliance, and vulnerability trends.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement security policies within Axonius for evaluating asset security hygiene.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data integration, ensuring that incoming asset data is accurate and up to date.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate security workflows and playbooks using Axonius.

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments and best practices related to Axonius and asset management in the cybersecurity field.

  • The Axonius Specialist will also support the Program Manager in overall program data gathering and reporting efforts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 12-15 years of related experience.  Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Proven experience working with the Axonius platform, including data integration, report generation, and policy enforcement.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, asset management, and vulnerability assessment.

  • Experience troubleshooting data integration issues and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues related to asset data and security posture.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in English required.

  • Relevant certifications such as Axonius Certified Operator or similar credentials are a plus.

  • Prior experience with other cybersecurity tools and platforms is beneficial.

  • Experience with creating and analyzing relevant documentation, reports, and briefings.

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office productivity tools (O365/M365)

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

  • Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. US Citizenship is required.

  • Candidate will be required to attend in-person activities within the Washington DC metropolitan area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of Axonius Foundations Course

  • Experience supporting programs conducting cybersecurity engineering and operations.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  • Prior experience supporting a Federal Customer.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $118,300.00 - $213,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
