We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable information technology sales manager to promote and sell our IT solutions. In this role, your duties will include familiarizing yourself with the technical specifications of our products, assessing clients' IT needs and demonstrating our IT solutions to potential clients.
To ensure success as an IT sales manager, you should exhibit extensive sales experience in an IT solutions environment, as well as in-depth knowledge of IT industry trends. IT Sales Manager ensure that their IT sales expertise translates to increased sales revenue.
A successful IT Sales Manager is self-motivated, cross function collaboration, understanding customer needs, challenges, and become the trusted valuable advisor to customers and prospects.
Responsibilities
Keeping informed on technical product specifications and functionalities.
Developing a sales strategy and setting sales targets.
Consulting with IT developers and management on product offerings.
Identifying marketing opportunities and developing sales leads. Engage with prospects and customers through initial sales meetings, Product demos, POCs and on boarding.
Assessing potential clients' IT needs and recommending products. Customer Success aspect - Dive deep into the customer organization alongside the sales in order to find new opportunities.
Preparing and delivering sales pitches and product demonstrations. Build content for blogs, documentation, videos, and any other assets that explains how to use the solution platform to solve real-world use cases.
Initiating after-sales technical support based on client requirements and feedback
Ensuring competitiveness by analyzing and researching industry trends.
What We Look For
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or Industrial Engineering
2-5 years experience in an IT sales environment, specifically in digital transformation, cloud and big data engineering space, modern databases and query engines
Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies.
Ability to liaise with management and IT developers about sales strategies. Comfortable with talking up and down the US company IT chain of command including directors, managers, architects, analysts and developers.
Exceptional ability in negotiating sales deals, contracts, and service agreements.
Ability to evaluate client feedback and provide after-sales service.
In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior, as well as industry trends and innovation.
Proven track record to run high-velocity activity, you are able to context switch easily, thrive when multitasking, fast pace is what you prefer.
Work in a lean, highly collaborative team with a focus on getting things done.
