The Civil Group at Leidos has an opening for a Senior Network Administrator/ Systems Administrator on the EUS contract.  In this role you will providing overall engineering support for a broad range of programs including planning, designing and evaluating various components of the network.  You will be provided a tremendous opportunity for growth in a customer-facing, fast-paced, and challenging environment. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Leidos has an opening for a Senior Network Administrator/ Systems Administrator to be part of the End User Services Team supporting the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on the HUD End User Support Services (EUS) contract. This position requires a candidate with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

This candidate will report to the Leidos EUS End User Support Manager/Designee and provide technical support for IT service-related activities in support of the HUD EUS contract. The selected candidate will resolve highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation. Develops solutions that are highly innovative, and achieved through research and integration of best practices.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Work with HUD OCIO and PMD Project Managers determining project schedules.

  • Provide Weekly Relocation/Office renovation Project Status.

  • Perform site surveys of new installations and meet with other contractors and government personnel in developing requirements and goals.

  • Develop complete bill of materials to support IT requirement for office relocations.

  • Develop proposals and estimates to perform office relocations and renovations.

  • Build complete bill of materials including pricing, estimate labor and travel cost to complete task and outline scope of performance to complete jobs.

  • Ability to re-install equipment and make operations including moves or renovations that include network architecture changes.

  • De-install ADP equipment and ready for relocation;

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50lbs.

  • Manage implementation of each project using Leidos and sub-contract labor.

  • Ability to perform configurations of user workstations and servers to network requirements;

  • Assist Network Control Center personnel with troubleshooting, problem isolation and resolving network problems.

  • Troubles shoot and service hardware problems and configurations with user workstations and servers;

  • Build and install new workstations, Laptops and peripherals to meet agency standards.

  • Provide power locations and requirements for equipment needing special sources.

  • Perform network printer/Multi-Function Device installs, upgrades & problem diagnosis;

  • Perform root cause analysis

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Information Technology field.

  • Excellent Problem solving skills.

  • Self-starter that is able to work independently while possessing the communication skills to work effectively with other team members, organizations and customers.

  • Professional, excellent interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients.

  • Typically requires BS degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.

  • Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a large company.

  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance.

  • CompTIA Network+

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts

  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Pay Range:

Pay Range $84,500.00 - $152,750.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
