To our valued Leidos candidates:

Coronavirus is on everyone's mind with the effects being felt around the world. The markets are volatile, and we're all concerned for the health and safety of our families, friends, and colleagues. Please know that we're taking all necessary measures to safeguard our employees, customers and the communities in which we live, including following all recommended best practices around social distancing.

With that in mind, in an abundance of caution, we are canceling all face to face career events, such as job fairs and open house events. In the coming days and weeks, we will be hosting career events virtually, using our online chat tools so that we may continue our hiring practice safely and securely. You can find available virtual career events at https://career-events.leidos.com.

We are using telephone meetings and online chats via Brazen to conduct interviews and hiring discussions, and we are offering options for video interviews so that you can have a virtual face to face meeting with your potential new leader. We do not conduct interviews or extend offers via text or chat based social media, such as WhatsApp or MySpace.

Leidos will never ask you to provide payment-related information at any part of the employment application process, nor will Leidos ever advance money as part of the hiring process. And Leidos will communicate with you only through emails that are generated by Leidos.com automated system. If you receive an email purporting to be from Leidos that asks for payment-related information or any other personal information, please report the email to Chris Scalia, Leidos’ Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition, at [email protected].

As a company, as a country, as a world, we have confronted challenging moments before. We are confident that, guided by our values and the strength of our community as well as the commitment we have to the important work we do each day, we will find our way through this time together. We will do this with the care and concern for one another and the common good that defines. Please keep those impacted by the virus in your thoughts.

Are you a skilled Training Developer looking for a new and exciting role? Your search ends here! Leidos has a career opportunity for a talented professional like you, supporting the Army's Synthetic Training Environment (STE). The Training Developer will aid in creating, validating, delivering, and training a complex distributed simulation-based training system. The position will require a fair amount of independence and will interact daily with a broad range of other technical skills to complete the tasks needed. An outgoing personality that seeks to find the necessary data and transform it into innovative video and online training solutions is required. This position will have primary responsibility for an assigned range of documents and training outcomes, which will be merged into a more extensive training and support package to be delivered to the customer. The position requires maturity and the ability to operate in a fluid environment where the candidate will need to take the initiative to define the correct answers and initiate contact to resolve uncertainties. This will be a collaborative position in an Agile team-based program.

In this role, you will be primarily involved with developing new content and merging inputs from multiple sources to create a single integrated set of documentation and training materials. The scope of specific responsibilities may include assisting in the development of technical manuals. A comprehension of AI-driven training architecture may be helpful in this position. Implementing a modern simulation-driven training system will be directly advocated by integrating and consolidating materials from multiple sources into a single coherent training capability. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to conduct training in conjunction with the materials being developed, but a self-contained (instructorless) training solution is the ultimate goal.

If you're a problem-solver who loves to stay organized and communicate at a high level, we want to hear from you! We're looking for someone with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and essential knowledge of fundamental constructs like learning theory and instructional development. The ability to translate technical jargon into more easily understandable prose is crucial. As part of this position, you'll be expected to speak and collaborate with technical staff. Are you up for the challenge? Take on this exciting opportunity to make a difference and showcase your talents. Apply today!

Your greatest work is ahead!
