Leidos has a dynamic job opportunity for a VTC Technician to support the Chief of Naval Operations, onsite, at the Pentagon and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) affiliated commands world-wide.
In this role, you will be supporting the ONI Hopper Global Communications Center, Fleet Support Division mission areas including providing on-site video teleconferencing engineering support and operational services for all room/studio video teleconferencing suites on the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Information System (JWICS), Legacy ISDN technologies and/or IP-Based networks.

What Will You Do (primary responsibilities)
Provide engineering support for installation and accreditation, activation, and remote troubleshooting assistance of room/studio and desktop VTC services residing on JWICS at Naval Intelligence forces ashore, to include, but is not limited to, room-sized systems, and desktop VTC units located at the Pentagon and other locations world-wide.
Identify and resolve technical problems utilizing best practices through teamwork with colleagues internal to the Pentagon, at the navy Maritime Intelligence Center or world-wide at other government facilities.
Work independently (or in collaboration with a team) to develop resolutions to technical issues and concerns by applying in-depth technical knowledge to resolve complicated issues as it relates to Video and Audio telecommunications systems world-wide.
What Sets you Apart (job qualifications)
A related bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of relevant work experience; additional related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Comprehensive experience with A/V (Audio & Video) system implementation and hands-on technical support of video telecommunications technologies.
Experience with AV control systems (e.g., AMX, Crestron, Extron) to include ability to configure and program devices.
Hands-on experience providing comprehensive support for point-to-point and multi-point VTC capabilities.
Expertise in scheduling VTC sessions utilizing EZ Scheduler.
Excellent customer service skills and experience supporting VIP (senior government/military) customers and the ability to interface with customers and ensure VTC services to support command operational requirements.
Experience in cable fabrication to include but not limited to: Cat6, XLR, 3.5 mm, DB-9 and TRRS
Physically able to lift 50lbs, crawl and walk long distances.
Strong oral and written communication skills to address and explain complex technical issues/problems to teammates and senior government and military personnel.
Self-starter and work independently to resolve intricate problems and include other external team members when necessary.
Travel may be required within the National Capital Region
Clearance Requirement
A current DoD Top Secret/SCI
Certification Requirement
A current IAT Level II or Higher certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $98,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
