We are searching for a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Manager. This is a hybrid remote position. Must be local to the Washington Naval Yard and able to go into our office 1-2 days per week.
As a member of the Navy LPD-17 Flight II and II Amphibious Ships Design team, you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing and tracking Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Test Procedure and EQN Reviews to help identify and task Systems Engineering Managers (SEMs) and other stakeholders to keep the paperwork associated with the LPD Acquisition moving and routed to the correct authorities within the Design team, the Program Office and NAVSEA.
Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducting package content pre-reviews to advise the SEM of the package content and the action needed.
Working with document originators to confirm that packages are complete including files, attachments and that they are fully functional prior to SEM formal review.
Developing, maintaining and providing CM of these documents
Provide and Lead weekly status reports.
Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance
Requires 4+ yrs of relevant experience
Requires a general understanding of technical disciplines associated with developing:
Detailed Design of Ships (hull structures, outfitting, piping, mechanical, electrical and combat systems).
Environmental qualification including reviewing incoming CDRLs and determining review disposition.
Familiarity with the NAVSEA TWH structure and their engineering agents.
Experience working within a NAVSEA Ship Design Team is a plus.
Knowledge of LPD or Amphibious Ship Design is a plus.
2+ Years of database management experience.
Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills Required.
Preferred Qualifications
BS or BA Degree is desired, but not required.
Background in ship design, construction and/or acquisition.
General knowledge of Navy systems and organizational structure
Ship Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS) breakdown structure
Ship layout, architecture and nomenclature (FWD/AFT/PORT/STBD, frames, decks, etc.)
NAVSEA Organization (TWH, SDM, ISEA and stakeholders in the ship design review process)
Online Repositories (IDE)
Familiarity with using an internet-based repository/IDE, where the CDRLs, TPs, and EQN data resides
Excellent Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
Strong Time Management and Organization Skills as an Independent Contributor.
Demonstrated Interpersonal Skills as a member of a Collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
