Leidos has an opportunity for an Information Assurance Engineer to support the EAMS Program. The ideal candidate will be joining a small team and will share the knowledge, workload and the future for a mission critical application. Must be able to work on-site in Herndon, VA. Must be able to work on-site. Remote/hybrid work is not available for this position. Work hours are flexible.
Primary Responsibilities
The candidate will work with the application leads, sysadmins, dbas, developers and testers to ensure the assigned systems are security compliant and achieve/maintain ATO. This includes following the RMF process for full test, partial test, CONMON and no test. Updating Xacta documentation including SSPs, SCTM, STPs and POAMs. Loading artifacts such as STIG checklists and ACAS scans. Helping to implement STIG checklists and mitigate scan findings. Answering questions to ensure systems are developed with security compliance built in. Supporting security assessment events and responding to all questions from PAT team, ISSMs and SCAs. Security+ or higher accreditation (such as CISSP) is required. Xacta experience is a nice to have.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with 8 or more years of related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree (HS with 12 years; Associates with 10 years; Masters with 6 years; PhD with 4 years).
- 4 years experience supporting a Federal or DoD program in an ISSO or ISSM capacity
- Experience with performing Security Control Assessment in compliance with NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-53A, and other NIST 800 guide series
- Xacta experience
- Must hold an active IAT level II baseline certification
Security Clearance
- Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.
- Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph is required for this Position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- CSAM tool experience
- Experience with risk analysis and assessment determinations incorporating system/mission owner, and unique operational constraints
- Experience with effective policy development and instruction for Federal or DoD Information Security Programs
Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $176,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
