Description
Leidos Corporate IT is looking for an IT Support Manager to lead a group of on-site and geographically dispersed desktop support technicians in the Leidos corporate environment. This is a leadership position that manages the scheduling, performance, and timekeeping for a team of 8-15 desktop support employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Become the focal point for enterprise infrastructure for supported locations across the US.
- Ensure compliance with processes and SLOs.
- Work closely with other Leidos IT services leaders to standardize and improve processes, augment team, and enhance support to customers.
- Ensure the team provides excellent customer service.
- Conduct annual performance assessments to include periodic check-ins.
- Provide coaching/mentoring to personnel.
- Develop and execute continual service improvement technical strategies to modify and enhance operational processes and impact strategic project goals with business results.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in desktop support in a large corporate environment. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience should include at least 2 years as desktop support supervisor / team lead / manager
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows in an enterprise environment
- Experience creating and documenting IT processes and procedures
- Strong technical understanding required to support enterprise networking LAN/WAN and associated hardware and cable plants.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a federal security clearance is required
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in supporting Mac OS and iOS devices
- Microsoft Visio network documentation experience
- MCP/MCSA/MCSE, A+, Network+, Security+
Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $152,750.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
