The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a Sr Program Analyst to support the FAA System Operations Security Group. In this role, you will provide support to the FAA Systems Operations Security Group in addressing a broad range of management related functions, which enable the operations of the directorate. This position requires an experienced person with demonstrated office and financial management expertise, superior professional demeanor, and the ability to learn and accomplish a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities that ensure program success.
Primary Responsibilities
Key attributes include initiative as well as critical thinking to identify and prioritize actions to assist the FAA in achieving program goals. You will support the FAA by ensuring that organizational business plan priorities and objectives are met. You will support the formulation and prioritization of budget spend plans, to include monitoring and developing changes to the budget throughout the year. Representation of the budget to various entities including the RPAS team, ORB, and other offices. Solicitation of budget resources to align to the emerging and existing needs of the organization. Comparing of AJR-2 budget goals with those developed by RPAS and recommending updates. You will also help to ensure that the AJR-2 budget is sufficient to meet mission requirements. When funds are not sufficient you will recommend and implement means of obtaining additional funds including AID, other-year budget increases, transfers, and other solutions. You will also be responsible for some non-technical efforts and tracking systems. Provide technical support in developing briefings and data sheets that provide budget and financial updates. Develop portfolio reviews and other management support tools. Other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a BA degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience or if no degree, additional related work experience can be substituted.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong background with FAA financial programs and software
- Experience in developing budgets and spend plans
- Deep knowledge of FAA funding processes and requirements.
- Knowledge of FAA financial planning requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in producing correspondence and preparing briefings for managers.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and compelling manner.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of FAA culture and organizational structure preferred.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $94,250.00 - $170,375.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
