Position is for a Program Analyst/Translator to support the Taiwan Light Frigate program.
This is a part time position. Support will be as needed up to 20 hours per week. Program support is expected to last for no more than 18 months. Candidate may work fully remote and must be able to provide support for US Eastern Time (EST) working hours.
Will be responsible for translating, interpreting, analyzing and assessing oral and written material such as classified and unclassified reports, data, briefings, and conversations.
Duties may include providing translation in written or oral form.
May work independently (with moderate supervision), or on project teams.
Will assist Program Manager and Ship Design Manager on translation of technical and commercial documents from Traditional Chinese to English and spoken Mandarin to English. Limited support may be needed to support live translations during customer meetings.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Must be fluent in spoken Mandarin, written Traditional (Taiwan) Chinese and written and spoken English.
Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
Experience with shipbuilding, ship modernization programs (Naval or Commercial), C4I/ combat systems, or prior Naval, Coast Guard, or merchant marine experience
Experience with civil engineering, construction projects or design related projects of mid to high complexity.
Experience working with Microsoft Office tools
Pay Range:Pay Range $48,750.00 - $88,125.00
