Leidos is looking to hire multiple eDiscovery Data Specialist IIs to work at the Office of the Pardon Attorney in Washington, DC. We are looking for individuals who have completed an Undergraduate degree preferably in computer science or related field and have hands-on litigation experience with. file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks of loads using Relativity or similar database in conjunction with the duties of the position. 

You will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth.  Be part of a dynamic team in providing legal services to support the Department of Justice and the Office of the Pardon Attorney’s mission.

In this role, you will assist with tasks including working with DOJ attorneys and other colleagues in gathering all of the necessary pieces needed in order for the Pardons office to provide the President of the United States with a report and recommendation to help in his decision making process on the exercise of his power to grant clemency. Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Provide on‐site technical resource/support who should be comfortable with designing and implementing visually appealing and data‐accurate information and updates to a public facing website.

  • Quick learner who is willing to learn new data management systems in order to provide high‐level support, as well as day‐to‐day management.

  • Help to create, modify and run daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, as requested.

  • Provide technical support to office staff as necessary, to include interaction with Department technical staff, ordinary maintenance of office technical equipment, and routine troubleshooting.

  • Assist in testing software functionality following upgrades or fixes.

  • May make updates to website based on specific data points at regular intervals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow. 

  • Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods. 

  • Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platform. 

  • At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis

  • Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure will be very important.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Government and/or Litigation Support environment in conjunction with basic qualifications, preferred.

  • Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications preferred.

  • Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote valued. 

  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred-preferably in computer science or related field. 

  • Experience in creating or editing of websites in conjunction with basic qualifications, valued.

  • Current or active clearance.

This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit. Leidos will ensure that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits. The pay for this position will be $38.68/hr.
