Leidos is hiring a .Net Developer Lead to support a customer within the Department of Justice on Software Development and Support services. Work is to be performed at a government location in Northern Virginia.
The individual selected for this position will be a system programmer supporting Application Development for custom applications utilized by the customer. The customer uses Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for managing development efforts, and Service Now as a back end service desk and ITSM application. Mission applications are currently hosted in the Azure government cloud. The customer uses the SCRUM Agile development methodology; the individual selected for this position will have the needed technical skills and knowledge to complete development tasks.
Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information. Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer. This process is currently taking 10+ weeks.
This individual will provides technical leadership in application development, and will apply this leadership in any phase of the system development life cycle support as task requirements dictate and may have a high level of expertise in one area. He or she will plan, recommend, and perform changes, utilizing an accomplished knowledge of multiple technical disciplines, unique applications, and business management practices to develop technical and/or business solutions to client problems. Specific responsibilities include leading a team of .NET developers, designing, coding, testing, and deploying software deliverables for Cold Fusion based applications, .NET applications, and SharePoint and Dynamics applications. UI design must increase the intuitive nature and efficiency of the UI.
Qualifications include familiarity with:
- C# Development
- .NET Framework 4.8 or higher
- .NET Core 3.0 and higher
- RESTful Web API
- Azure Web Apps
- MS SQL
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Software Development.
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC 4.0, C#, Java script, jQuery, Bootstrap, ADO.NET and AJAX
- Experience with leading development teams
- Experience with DevOps, Agile-Scrum
- Client Interaction experience
- Strong Problem-Solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers verbally and in writing.
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust security clearance.
- This position is currently remote but may change to hybrid (remote/onsite) in the future due to government requirements. Must be able to accommodate onsite requirement.
- Certifications related to programming in C# or Software Development are highly desired.
Salary Range for this position: $110K to $125K
Pay Range:Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
