Leidos is seeking an Salesforce Admin Lead to design, develop, maintain, and manage customer and operational databases and systems in support of our DCSB program Army C5ISR CSSP mission. The candidate will be responsible for improving the effectiveness of the Salesforce system and monitoring performance , improving technology used, building new capabilities and monitoring data entry, procedures and troubleshooting.  The position will review, coordinate, and submit Salesforce system changes to the Change Control Board (CCB) steward for voting and implementation. The position requires the candidate be highly motivated, well organized, self-starting, and work well in a supportive, integrated team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Admin lead for Salesforce maintenance and improvement projects, overseeing account creation, profiles, roles, permission sets, page layouts, workflows, dashboards, custom integrations, and other functionalities.
  • Work with the Salesforce systems database and software to determine the best way to organize, store, and retrieve data.
  • Collaborate closely with users to identify requirements and update Salesforce to support business and technical needs.
  • Manage database and system design, development, monitoring, testing, and production to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform data management tasks, including database mapping, migration, integration, and troubleshooting, to meet program data management needs and comply with operational, external reporting, and legal regulations.
  • Provide technical training and support to users.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and new features, assessing their impact.
  • Handle custom integrations, including SQL, Salesforce, and PLSQL.
  • Support process management, testing, documentation, and exceptions handling in databases.
  • Support server management.
  • Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field, with 4+ years of Salesforce Administrator/Developer experience. Consideration may be given to more years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong SQL, PSQL, MSSQL experience.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including database mapping and design, system programming, problem-solving, and data flow analysis.
  • Experience in developing, modeling, and maintaining relational database management systems.
  • Expertise in the use and troubleshooting of a variety of operating systems is a plus.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to make unanticipated changes to production deliverables as required.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and highly flexible and adaptable.
  • Collaborative attitude.
  • Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) to start and maintain.  CSSP certification is required within 90 days of start.
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
