The FTE will provide technical training data, coordination, and quota management assistance in support of the Office of Technical Training (AJI-2) and Air Traffic Services (AJT) groups for Air Traffic Controller training in the Eastern Service Area.

Your Main Objective:
Support the identification of the training requirements and assist with the training of the Air Traffic Controller workforce.
Use and apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to review the quota allocation, develop, and recommend improvements to operational efficiency.
Develop and recommend processes in consultation with the Office of Technical Training (AJI-2) to determine improvements to technical training requirements for the operational workforce.
Perform multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the direction of Office of Technical Training (AJI-2).
Coordinate training related program relationships, communications, resolve issues, problems, and monitor training programs in their service area for quality, effectiveness, and consistency.
Under the direction of the Office of Technical Training (AJI-2), develop recommendations and discuss recommended course of action(s) with program managers and AJI-2 leadership to resolve problem areas.
Participate in weekly, monthly meetings, etc., and provide status reports as deemed necessary by the Office of Technical Training (AJI-2).
What Sets You Apart:
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience; additional experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
Prior experience as a Program and/or Project Manager at the FAA Regional or Headquarters level.
3+ years of experience as an FAA first and/or second level Manager in Terminal/En Route or Headquarters level.
Knowledge of and experience with air traffic controller training and terminology.
Ability to provide a consultative and collaborative approach to work with executives, managers, and individual contributors and report out on the consultations.
You Might Also Have:
A key element of this support is Air Traffic Control experience and the ability to use/apply data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, PowerApps, Tableau) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project) to create flexible reporting dashboards and provide data for decision-making.
While a clearance is not required to be considered for the position, the ability to obtain a clearance (i.e., Public Trust) is required if hired.

Pay Range:Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
