Varec, a Leidos company is currently searching for a Deployment and Sustainment Analyst. The Technical Support Analyst functions as the FuelsManager® Defense (FMD), Base Level Support Application (BLSA) Subject Matter Expert for all advanced support requests generated from DLA Energy Customers both at the local base and enterprise levels.

Location: This position will allow for remote work for candidates located in the USA.

Shift: Night Shift Hours: 6 PM – 3 AM

The Challenge:

  • Coordinate Defense Logistics deployments by preparing pre-installation site preparation, scheduling coordination and shipping logistics through post installation documentation per contract guidelines.
  • Supports inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred property and excessed property.
  • Coordinate material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property with subcontractors.
  • Supports workflow development to ensure audit readiness and accurate data records for the life cycle of DoD government property.
  • Assist with documenting all disposition, transfer, administrative adjustments, or property loss search history on government required forms, and maintain records in easy to navigate electronic folders.
  • Help maintain complete records and backup documentation as required by the government contract.
  • Assist in handling onsite and offsite inventories and in comparing data against the current property records to determine potential discrepancies, losses, and found on installation additions.
  • Responsible for Program compliance with FAR regulations and corporate property administration policies
  • Assist with IUID tagging and registering in accordance with contractual requirements and customer preference.
  • perform daily research of all deployed fuel pedestals for any potential operational issues.
  • Develop new processes and scripts for gleaning information provided
  • Follow up to ensure cases get resolved in the appropriate timeframes.
  • Consolidate release posture of the deployed production pedestals.
  • Monitor the pedestal attendant dashboard and Tier III open tickets for issues
  • Familiar with ServiceNow ticket system to triage and respond to sustainment issues within the Service Level Agreement.

What Sets You Apart (Basic Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with four plus (4+) years of relevant experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Hardware Management or fuels management or relevant military experience. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • U.S Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance level: IT-II
  • Must have or ability to obtain one of the following certifications within 60 days of hire date: (Linux Essentials, A+ or Network+)
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of independently and effectively planning and prioritizing personal tasking
  • Collaborative worker to gather information from different stakeholder teams related to the lifecycle of equipment
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

You Might Also have:

  • Prior military fuels management, fuels equipment management, or supply chain logistics highly preferred
  • Experience entering and tracking complex in Excel trackers and databases as well as accurate completion of DoD processes and forms

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
