This role is a great opportunity to support an important part of Leidos Total Rewards program, at a pivotal moment in our evolution.  Our Benefits Administrator will support our Retirement team as well as our Health & Welfare team and Global Benefits consulting practice, learning about a wide-variety of plans and programs supporting the physical, mental and financial wellness of 47,000+ employees world-wide.  While mostly administrative in nature (85%) this role does provide an opportunity to manage several vendors for our health and welfare programs (15% of role) and could be a stepping stone to a professional career in Benefits. 

Benefit Vendor Management Responsibilities

  • Attend weekly or bi-weekly status calls, resolve and/or escalate employee issues, manage systems/data workflow, work with Strategic Sourcing and other internal stakeholders to manage annual renewals and other minor contract issues for:
    • Health Mgmt Resources (vendor supporting weight loss, healthy eating/coaching)
    • Tobacco Cessation Program (managed through a third-party vendor)
    • Benefits Recovery Group (vendor handling our medical/Rx subrogation claims)
    • Dependent Eligibility Verification Process (current vendor is Qualcom/Budco but we are in the process of putting this business out to bid)
    • Adoption & Surrogacy Benefits (currently administered by Inspira Financial, formerly Payflex)

Support Function-Administrative Work

  • Support of our Executive Compensation Team:
    • Audits (e.g. pulling 180 Payroll screen shots, 7-8 times a year) and responding to requests for information
    • Employee leave vacation balance payouts for legacy L3Harris employees
  • Support of our Benefits Team:
    • Attend Weekly Retirement and H&W Team Staff Meetings and take notes re: current and future projects and issues
    • Attend Monthly HR Projects Collaboration Calls, updating the HR community re: the Benefit Team’s current and future Retirement and Health & Welfare Projects
    • Manage the Leidos H&W, Leidos Retirement and QTC (a Leidos subsidiary) Benefits Mailboxes
    • Support our retirement plans and their participants by gathering data necessary for annual IRS testing, EE/former EE inquiries re: retirement balances and contributions for non-US plans
  • Support of the Total Rewards Team:
    • Manage Invoices, Funding Wire transfers, NPOs (submit requests and track payments)
    • In Person Meetings - Organizing the logistics of annual/quarterly vendor meetings; in-person strategy meetings (3-4); ad hoc meetings as needed
    • Mail (manage incoming and outgoing)
    • Vendor Report/Data Management
    • Order Support: On-boarding/Off-boarding and general orders (computers, monitors, phones, etc)
    • Travel and Expense Reporting in Concur—support travel, submission for reimbursement, and any audit requests for Team

Basic Qualifications

  • Great organizational skills, detail oriented, must be comfortable asking questions and presenting information to large audiences (internal HR). 
  • MS Office suite of software skills must be strong (charts and graphs is MS Word, Intermediate Excel, MS PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some Benefits experience is definitely a plus.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills would also be helpful.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
