Program Summary

This unique Software Developer opportunity will allow you to participate on a high-visibility DoD/Intel program that provides software design, development, and component testing to an important customer in the cyber arena. More specifically, it has been the development contract for a major systems acquisition program within the one of the DoD's premier Cyberwarfare organizations to modernize the infrastructure used for managing its mission. This group of elite Cyber professionals is now focused on developing the next generation of cutting-edge Computer Network Operations (CNO) mission management capabilities.

Position Summary

An experienced Java Software Developer will be joining a team responsible for developing agile SCRUM environment. The candidate will develop and support the customer's Mission Management applications, and will provide the professional and technical development expertise and capabilities needed to help the organization achieve infrastructure modernization goals and initiatives. The Developer will provide full-stack support for several existing applications, and will be responsible for correcting faults, improving performance, and developing enhancements to the applications. Some of the applications are back-end services that support multiple, core Mission Management applications. Other applications provide the UI used by analysts in the performance of their duties. The position requires full-stack development, as well as development of RESTful service endpoints.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and eight (8) or more years experience or Masters with six (6) or more years of experience. In lieu of BS degree, a relevant Software Engineer and/or Development Certification will be required.

A firm understanding of modern computer programming with a minimum of six (6) years-experience in programming and development of application software for complex systems and software testing.

Six (6) years-experience with programming using the majority of the modern software environments listed below:

Java, J2EE, JBs, JMS, Subversion, Nexus, Maven, SQL, Tomcat, Hibernate

Familiarity with developing RESTful Services

TS/SCI with polygraph

Desired Experience

Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
