This contract is a large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large, collection systems. The work that's being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. An experienced software developer is needed to add new features that require design/code improvements to analytic tools. The developer will use Python as the primary development language. The engineer will need to be familiar with Postgres and ElasticSearch Relational Databases. They will write SQL statements in code to read from/insert into database. The developer will need to have full understanding of database tables to included adding extra fields to the tables.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field of study
Twelve (12) or more years related experience, degree may count toward some experience requirements
Within the last 5 years, a minimum of 4 years experience with designing, coding, testing, and debugging software to run under either Microsoft Windows (XP or later) or UNIX (Solaris 8 or later, Redhat LINUX) Operating System.
Python programming experience
Familiarity with Postgres and ElasticSearch Relational Databases.
TS/SCI with polygraph
Knowledge of GUI interfacing is helpful but the developer will not develop GUIs
Knowledge of MySQL database
