Job Description:
Description: Leidos is seeking qualified candidates with extensive experience to serve as the Information / Education Technologist (IET) Task Lead for a National Defense University (NDU) in the Middle East. The I/ET Task Lead will facilitate learning by introducing and maintaining state-of-the-art information and education technology and developing, installing, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources that support the teaching/learning environment. The IET Task Lead is responsible for advising and assisting host nation officials on installation, maintenance, and upgrades of the educational IT network which incorporates both Internet and intranet modalities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Educational or Instructional Technology or a directly related field REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least At least five (5) years experience in Information and Education Technology at an accredited university or Intermediate / Senior Service School. Blackboard certified, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification DESIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: A high degree of cultural adaptability is a must. Previous international teaching experience, preferably in the Middle East, is highly desired as is Arabic language proficiency.
