Job Summary:

Defense & Intelligence Group is currently seeking expertise to transform and build an end-to-end national-level security environment using DevOps to integrate, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and operate, multiple systems on traditional and cloud platforms in Reston and Tysons, VA. This is a large scale contract with a 5 year period of performance and an incredible opportunity to join our Leidos team! The work will be performed in Reston and Tysons, VA.

The Chief Data Officer is responsible for understanding the use and management of data throughout its lifecycle. This individual will work directly with application product owners, end users, and developers in order to ensure data is compiled correctly, disseminated to the proper organizations, and maintained according to service level agreements. This individuals will be responsible for understanding the data security requirements needed across the Enterprise and work across the entire Enterprise organization to ensure requirements are satisfied.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 10-13 years of related experience required with a Master's degree in a technical field or a Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 12-15 years of related experience.

Demonstrated experience working in an Agile team environment and/or DevOps
Strong customer service communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly to senior executive leadership audience
Ability to communicate technically to development and operations organizations
Demonstrated experience working in the Sponsors environment.
Demonstrated experience with Data Management technologies and Data Science principles
Recent experience with Data Analytic technologies like SPARK, SQL
Past experience working as Database Administration role and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processing
TS SCI with specific polygraph is required for this position.
