The Defense & Intelligence Group at Leidos currently has a career opportunity for an SCCM Systems Engineer to work at Joint Base Andrews.
The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR, missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas required are: IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment.
Will provide SCCM Engineering level guidance Joint Base Andrews with potential travel to other selected locations.
-Use SCCM, PowerShell or Manual methods in order to maintain and manage the SCCM environment.
-Push Image Builds and Patches to Servers and Workstations.
-Provide Tier 3 level support for SCCM and workstation patching problems.
-Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager.
-Ability to write PowerShell Automation Scripts.
-Experience leading small teams and managing cross functional projects.
-Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 8+ years of overall related experience with an Information Technology environment, additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
-Currently possess an active DoD Top Secret Security clearance.
-Must hold current or obtain within 90 days of start date DoD 8570 IAT2 certification Security+ CE or higher.
-Engineer solutions using SCCM to fix / automate problems that require the frequent use of analysis of situation.
-Communication with internal team members across multiples areas.
-Experience Managing projects related to Desktop Imaging.
