Job Description:
HSS Program Operations Lead Leidos is seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) to serve as Program Operations Lead for the Homeland Security Solutions (HSS) unit of the Leidos Civil Business Group. This new role is responsible for: ensuring that all programs across HSS meet performance requirements; identifying and addressing risk in a timely and effective manner; acquiring resources to maintain performance; developing and implementing processes, checklists, and other tools to monitor and enhance performance; preparing and presenting reports; and partnering with leaders and technical and functional staff to achieve goals. The Operations Lead will work directly with the unit Operations Manager, staff, and program managers to implement, refine, and enhance the business reythmns and oversight of program performance. The Operation Lead will serve as a resource to direct to critical execution needs, such as but not limited to: Return to Green activities, Program Start-ups, and Transition-in/out activities. With respect to new business, the Program Operations Manager will contribute to bid strategy and solutions development, transition plans, and start-up processes, and will call upon external parties, as needed, for objective review. With respect to existing business, the Program Operations Manager will develop periodic reviews, with a focus on opportunities for shaping future growth through exceptional performance. Minimum Quals: • Experience leading complex IT projects or programs for a Civilian Federal Government client. • Success in building internal and external relationships ad networks to identify key resources and capabilities required to perform. • Experience leading program transition, start-up, baseline review, mid-course review, or similar activities involving the evaluation of business processes and delivery against stated contract terms, SLAs, and other metrics. • Experience successfully managing subcontractors
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires Masters with 15 - 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 - 16 years of prior relevant experience.
