Job Description:
The National Solutions Group at Leidos currently has an anticipated opening for a Project Coordinator to support a client's requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Aurora, Colorado area. The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and is contingent upon program award. The Project Coordinator will serve as the focal point for managing projects throughout the project lifecycle process to include scheduling, stakeholder communications, coordination of all activities and closeout. The Project Coordinator will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates, key stakeholders and the Government customer to ensure mission continuity and support to the IC community.Roles and Responsibilities:• Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of specific projects assigned.• Work with program management to ensure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule and within budget.• Coordinate with other departments for project support and required resources.• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.• Provide project management assistance, guidance, coordination, and support to the Program Manager, Service Delivery Manager and technical leads.• Assist with defining and tracking project milestones; monitor projects to assist in identifying and resolving potential issues.• Assist in communicating status, issues, and other project topics to appropriate stakeholders.• Work with configuration management to schedule milestones and action item management/tracking.• Aid in scheduling of agile tasking, tracking the assignment and execution of assigned actions, monitoring and reporting on assigned projects.• Provide configuration management of all the artifacts produced by assigned projects.• Track the performance and status of assigned projects.• Assist with program project metrics tracking and reporting, and ensure customer quality and performance requirements standards are implemented correctly and being followed.• Support monthly/quarterly/yearly Customer and Leidos corporate reporting.
Basic Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below• Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of project coordination/management experience• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required • Relevant IC Customer experience• Demonstrated experience in customer facing roles• Demonstrated experience with project coordination, scheduling and reporting• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration Previous experience with local mission domains and customer base is highly desired Familiarity with national systems missions and conceptsContinuous service improvement or process improvement experience
