Job Description:
Leidos currently has an opening for an Underwater Vehicle Manager to work in our Chesapeake, VA office.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping with an important US Government customer. In this mission we are a "hands-on", highly skilled technical organization that supports our customers in 24/7 operations both in the United States and internationally.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Underwater Vehicle Manager is located In Chesapeake VA and shall oversee the execution and technical management of Underwater ROV technical program activities and assist the PM in San Diego in scheduling all resources and other support activities and management. - Responsible for the operational planning, at sea execution and life cycle sustainment support for the ROV, SEAPLOW and all other underwater vehicles. - Responsible for researching, vetting and proposing any relevant new technology that would support program mission objectives.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below - Bachelor's Degree and 12 plus years' experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role, (Bachelor's degree will be considered depending upon the degree major.) - Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI, or a Top Secret clearance with a current SSBI, and be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Ability to obtain additional clearance requirements may be required. Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration - Ability to manage simultaneous domestic and international operations in a high tempo work environment - "Hands on" management experience with large project management disciplines including scheduling, planning, maritime survey, logistics / material movement and warehousing. - "Hands on" management experience with tradesman associated with mechanical, hydraulics, electrical and electronic skills.
