Job Description:
The NISC III program within the Leidos Civil group is seeking a Training / Curriculum Developer to provide support to implement a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (FAA) crisis response and emergency operations training program including the design, development, standardization and evaluation, and analysis of the training program effectiveness.

Position designation would be an FAA ATO crisis response and emergency operations training development coordinator.

Specific duties for the role include:

Prepare FAA ATO-related crisis response and emergency operations training related documentation.

Assist with the coordination and maintenance of the relationship of stakeholders to optimize performance and cross-functional expertise and support performance, measurement, and reporting.

Provide support to ensure the quality of deliverables and products.

Other related duties assigned.

Typical education and experience:

Typically requires a BA degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience in the following:

Developing, implementing and supporting an effective and ongoing training team,

In aviation related training programs,

In FAA rules, authorities and procedures,

Knowledge of the FAA Air Traffic System preferred.

Air Traffic Controller or Flight Service Specialist experience preferred.

Background with FAA Crisis Response and emergency Operations preferred.

Ability to:

Develop and lead working groups comprised of multiple agencies and senior level individuals to achieve common training objectives,

Conceptualize all facets of a training program to include development of objectives, training materials, and evaluation products.

Preferred experience also includes:

Experience supporting a training program;

Experience working as an analyst of emergency management policies, programs and procedures supporting state or federal agencies;

Aviation related experience, optimally FAA; GIS related platforms;

Microsoft office;

Being a team leader in the development training program;

Proven in developing aviation related training programs;

Working on or supporting interagency training programs;

Handle multiple tasking and deadlines;

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
