Job Description:
The NISC III Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Financial Analyst to work in our Ft. Worth, Texas office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the NISC III mission. The candidate will provide Financial Analyst support to the Central Service Area (CSA) NISC III Program Management in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will provide analysis of actual costs, budget variance analysis, monthly financial statements, Estimate at Completion (EAC), Task Order cost estimates, and Task Order close-outs. Participate in weekly meetings with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customer to discuss task order financial status. On a routine basis, the candidate will perform the following tasks:Verify and validate monthly Invoice expensesResearch and correct invoice discrepanciesProvide Invoice Certification for the FAA customerRun financial report and verify funding balanceDevelop monthly Estimate At Completion (EAC) reports for each Task Order SubtaskUpdate internal Financial DatabasesUpdate Travel and Training ReportResearch and prepare cost estimates - labor, travel, and other direct costs (ODC) - for specific requirements, upon requestPrepare and input Task Order cost estimates into the FAA's Contract Management systemPrepare and submit Task Order Close-out documentation after researching and validating all expenses have been processed, approximately 6 - 8 months after Task Order End DateReview Travel Authorizations and Training Authorizations for accuracy and enter amounts on Funding spreadsheetsReview Subcontractor charges and validate time, travel, and Other Direct Cost (ODC) expensesMust be able to take on new tasks and meet established deadlines
Typical education and experience:Typically requires a BA degree and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.Prior FAA experience preferred.
