Leidos' Defense & Intelligence Group is currently seeking expertise to transform and build an end-to-end national-level security environment using DevOps to integrate, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and operate, multiple systems on traditional and cloud platforms in Reston and Tysons, VA.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role performs planning, tracking analysis, and reporting on project financials. Duties include implementation of financial policies and procedures in support of projects; establishment and maintenance of cost/schedule baselines; development of WBS and related dictionaries, schedules or Resource Loaded Networks (RLN's) and budgets; implementation of Earned Value methodologies (if required) and performs related variance analyses; preparation of written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances; program life-cycle activities such as setup/ maintenance; working capital activities such as invoicing support for unbilled cost, accruals, on-hold cost, cost backup; program financial revenue projection and variance support. This role works with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators, senior technical personnel, as well as other organizations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
Experience planning and leading major technology assignments.
Experience evaluating performance results and recommending major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Experience as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
Experience supervising others.
