Job Description:
is actively hiring for a Consulting Employee to oversee the
implementation of the Statistical Digital Filter (SDF) for space weather data
analysis and assimilation.


the implementation of the Statistical Digital Filter as applied to space
weather under the DARPA Space Environment Exploitation (SEE) program if awarded
to Leidos. Maintain an overall picture
of data flow for the SEE data assimilation and modeling system.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: PhD in Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, or a related field.Experience in handling large atmospheric datasets and in the assimilation of data into dynamical models.Experience with the Statistical Digital Filter, a data assimilation technique. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• USAF Weather experience.• 10+ years of experience working weather programs in the civilian or DoD sectors.
