Job Description:
Leidos Defense and Intelligence Group is seeking an Information Assurance Manager to support an upcoming EUCOM/AFRICOM initiative in Stuttgart, Germany. The Senior IA manager will work on critical networks and help ensure the safety of our of our systems. The Sr IA manager will be a motivated self-starter and have a strong foundation and understanding in Information Technology and Security Architecture as well as be familiar with security functions of large organizations, specifically security operations. In this role, you will provide oversight and direction, RMF, and IAVM support across the program to ensure the IA of the network, VTC, and VDI. You will have some hands on with the systems, but overall will be a manager of the Information Assurance across the CITS III effort.

Primary Responsibilities:

Tasks may include but are not limited to vulnerability scanning and analysis according to policy; scheduling, execution and tracking of vulnerability remediation activities; security monitoring, analysis and response; tracking, and reporting of security patch/upgrade implementation; development of security policies, processes and procedures; development of information security documents; conducting security audits; development and delivery of presentations; security product trade studies; security test and evaluation; and STIG/Checklist auditing.This position has a particular focus on incident response and threat assessment as part of a Security Operations Center (SOC). The candidate is expected to have a broad range of knowledge into the latest tools and techniques used to secure customer networks. Candidates should have experience in investigating computer and information security incidents to determine the extent of a compromise and providing assessments and forensics support of these incidents. The candidate should be able to provide recommendations for integrated system security solutions to ensure all customer systems are protected.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree

You must hold an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain up to Top Secret/SCI per contract requirements.

Required Experience:

Evaluating large security enterprises and providing knowledge/expertise on how to implement and drive a plan for transforming an organization to their desired end state/goal
Development of SOC processes, procedures, metrics and training material based on industry best practices.
Direct hands on testing of security products / systems to detect computer and information security weakness.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, be willing to learn and execute on any client requests, and have the ability to interact with all levels of customer staff from the executive level down to highly technical analysts in structured and unstructured situations and across multiple domains.
Motivated self-starter and have a strong foundation and understanding in Information Technology and Security Architecture as well as be familiar with security functions of large organizations, specifically security operations.
Experience investigating computer and information security incidents to determine the extend of compromise, provide assessments and forensic support of these incidents
Possess a broad range of knowledge into latest tools and techniques used to secure customer networks.
Ability to provide recommendations for integrated system security solutions to ensure all customer systems are protected.
Experience testing security products / systems to detect computer and information security weakness.
