Job Description:

Our program is currently seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer to support DEVOPS processes in a dynamic and mission focused team. The team is supporting our customer as we establish a process for the support of numerous cloud migration efforts. Working with the rest of the systems engineering team and the other parts of the program. The successful candidate will be able seek to develop and refine processes to support future program growth as we add new and emerging capabilities. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to rapidly evolving processes and to work well as a part of a team and individually.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Writing Experience.

The ability to work independently with little direction

Strong organizational skills

Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Strong presentation skills (all levels of management / customer).

Familiarity with the geospatial domain and technologies (ArcGIS, WMS, WFS, KML).

Ability and willingness to obtain a DoD 8570 compliant security+ Certification

Experience with Amazon Web services (AWS)

System (hardware, software and networking) Design and Architecture.

Understanding of SW development methodologies (Agile), Cost and Work Estimation (Excel).

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint)

Education & Experience:
Requires BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
