Leidos has an immediate opportunity for an IT Operations Helpdesk analyst to provide SME expertise to the integrated team support and maintenance of Windows and Linux operating systems, troubleshoot and resolve problems as required, and serve as one of the highest levels of escalation for service and security issues within MARCENT.
As the resident expert, administer storage, network and voice service management hardware and software. Maintain the integrity of software and services.
Provide senior level planning, scheduling, testing, and coordination for installation of upgrades.
Track service dependencies. Coordinate and work closely with Marine Corps Cyber Operations Group (MCCOG) and CENTCOM J6 to maintain and troubleshoot service outages.
Write and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP), and desktop procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft core architectures including Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft Clustering Services, Azure and Office 365 migrations.
In-depth knowledge and experience deploying multiple Virtualization technologies, including Microsoft's Hyper-V, Microsoft Virtual Server, VMWare ESX, and VMWare Server.
Must be familiar with firewalls and their services and security. Must be familiar with Cisco networking technologies and configuration.
Must have DoD 8570 required certification (A+ or Security+).
Must have Secret security clearance.
High School graduate and 6 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree and 2 years experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years in IT Customer Support
