This is a unique opportunity for a young engineer to learn from the best and to contribute to next-generation RF seeker hardware designs for critical guided weapon systems.

Incumbents will:
  • Perform radar system component technology development for imaging RF seekers on high speed guided munitions, focusing on the antennas and radomes.
  • Perform modeling and simulation to quantify antenna and radome RF propagation performance, including running a modeling and simulation tools suite to support multi-fidelity models from empirical through solution of governing differential equations.
  • Develop and perform experiments from phenomenology-level to hardware component performance.
  • Report to and coordinate with the program manager on a daily basis ensuring all objectives are met.
  • Prepare written and verbal deliverables, reports and presentations for management and customer review as required by the contract.
  • Develop the RF seeker hardware trade space and perform subsystem technology trades. Identify technology maturation areas to be developed.
