Leidos is actively hiring for a TMPC Fleet Operations Engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Fleet Operations development team, but expected to work independently and in accordance with published schedules.
Extensive liaison with Fleet and other government/contractor personnel to solicit input and review the status of the system processes, operational procedures, and deficiencies will be required.
Candidate must have a strong background in Tomahawk Command and Control (C2), to include a strong working knowledge of joint and fleet operational TLAM Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) supporting TWS/TMPC operations and systems ashore and afloat.
Candidate must be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Mission Distribution System (MDS) operational employment processes and procedures with a strong background in Tomahawk Strike Planning and Execution.
Recent knowledge of Tomahawk operational workflows is required.
Candidate will be required to travel internationally.
The candidate may assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments. The candidate will communicate with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other technical resources, etc.). Explains technical solutions, practices and procedures to others within the organization.
Member of the Systems Engineering team focused on fleet requirements.
Provide assessments of fleet training events.
Work as a fleet liaison to ensure that Fleet issues are resolved or addressed.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with 4 years of experience. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A Master's Degree with 2 years of experience can also be considered.
Experience as an SME on Mission Distribution Systems operational employment processes and procedures.
Experience in Tomahawk Command and Control to include knowledge of joint and fleet operational TLAM Tactic, Techniques and Procedures supporting TWS/TMPC operations and systems.
Active TS/SCI clearance
Recent knowledge of TSMPC operational workflows.
