Job Description:

The Finance and Business Office at Leidos currently has an opening for a Financial Analyst to work in our Webster, TX office. This is an exciting opportunity to start your career with the Cargo Mission Contract. On this NASA contract we provide prime logistics and engineering services that supports the International Space Station (ISS) and Exploration Programs. The contract works very closely with hardware providers, International Partners, and commercial ISS Visiting Vehicles to ensure the safe, on-time delivery of hardware and services.

Typically requires a BA degree and 0 - 2 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Analyze program incurred cost and develop external monthly cost reporting

Develop weekly internal financial reports to assist program managers with financial performance status

Coordinate, review, and approve customer invoices

Manage schedule status reviews to incorporate inputs from project managers in support of monthly business rhythm

Verify and validate monthly Invoice expenses

Research and correct invoice discrepancies

Run financial report and verify funding balance

Desired Qualifications:

High level of MS Office skills with an emphasis in Advanced Excel proficiency

Able to multi-task and re-prioritize work on a daily basis

Highly self-motivated, process improvement oriented mindset, and a proactive team player

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
