Job Description:

We are excited to announce our opening for a Procurement Planning and Control Associate in our Gaithersburg, MD location! This person will be responsible for supporting the material acquisition plans for the multiple programs within the Leidos Intel Business Line. Must have the ability to work with Programs in generating material requirements and providing the necessary support of acquisition plans from start to finish. Individual will be interfacing with Vendors, Logistics, Receiving, and Strategic Sourcing to ensure program milestones are met.

Primary Responsibilities

Generating material, software and maintenance requirements for programs, monitor procurements through the lifecycle of the orders, contact vendors requesting delivery status, resolving procurement conflicts with Strategic Sourcing and program requestors, placing orders for under $30k using Sourcing P-Card


0-2 years of experience and a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline - Microsoft Office knowledge and skills -SharePoint understanding and experience - Ability to multitask - Good organization and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Intermediate Microsoft Knowledge and Skills, BS Business Admin with concentration in Supply Chain Management, Prior Purchasing Experience using P-Card.
