Leidos has a job opening for a IT Support Intern in Beavercreek, OH.
This position performs the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems. Day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems. This position maintains data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements. Recommends hardware and software solutions.
Daily IT support to include imaging, hardware/software installation and troubleshooting and basic network troubleshooting. Additional duties may include the ability to conduct telephonic remote support and other IT project work. Performs other duties as required.
-Pursuing at minimum a 2 year degree in Information Technology, Systems Admin, Helpdesk, or related degree with an average 3.0 GPA.
-Requires basic knowledge of Computers, Networks, and MS Windows Operating Systems.
-US Citizenship is required.
-CompTIA A+/Network+ Certification or equivalent experience
