Job Description:

The Leidos Civil Group is seeking a dynamic senior level Task Order Manager (TOM) to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC III) team.

The position will be supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) NISC support team with the goal of providing outstanding customer service to FAA customers receiving NISC services throughout the eastern service area.

The successful candidate will be a proven, versatile, and results- driven leader that motivates a multi- disciplined technical team including two subordinate managers and 70 personnel as well as contract oversight to all subcontractors, located from Maine to Florida. The TOM is responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and personnel development. Multiple Teams consist of Engineers, Air Traffic Specialists, Computer Programmers, Program Analysts, and Environmental Occupational Safety and Health personnel and more. The TOM coordinates the preparation of task order proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and EACs of the various task orders. The TOM is the primary customer contact for all program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss and be accountable for cost, schedule, and technical performance of all task orders. The TOM leads the execution of task orders under the NISC program with a cumulative value of over $10M that requires strong business acumen with a thorough understanding the customer mission, the customer organization and customer relations, and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs and requirements. Further, the TOM is expected to be visionary with initiatives for process improvements and innovations that become embedded into the customer operations thereby improving overall mission support.

Typical education and experience: Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. Basic qualifications: Requires broad knowledge of Program and Project Management and government operations. Desired skills: Previous air traffic experience and a support role to FAA customers highly preferable.
